TIVEDEN NATIONAL PARK.

Time for Rosie to do two more washes and dries before we head off at midday. To kill time we walk around the village. We hadn't noticed last night but the local hotel/restauraunt has monkey statues holding the lamps at the entrance.

Our destination is a national park alongside Lake Unden. The journey will take 157 miles and 4 hours. However, we will be a long way towards the ferry port in the end. And, it gives Rosie the opportunity to see wild boar, deer and cranes.

We stop for lunch at a roadside services. The toilets are spotless. Each time we encounter toilets like these, we compare them to those at Newmiller Dam. They were disgusting and charged a fee. When Rosie rules the world, that is the first thing that she will sort out.

We struggle to find the park mainly because we don't know the exact address. Eventually, we arrive and discover that you can't park between midnight and 6 am. More of that later. There are 5 Van's and a caravan parked ahead of us as we set off on a small walk. We spoke with a young couple who warned us that the terrain was not easy. And, it wasn't, tree roots, boulders and much climbing. 3 kilometres takes 1.5 hours.

When we return, there is only on van left. A Swedish couple tell us that is not possible to stay overnight but they are going to try it. We decide to join them.
