ROSERSBERG.
The 6 o'clock alarm comes as a shock. We leave site by 6:45 and the journey to the port takes 25 minutes. We spend a good half an hour watching the unloading and loading of containers. The drivers race on and off the ship at quite a pace. Given a bonus as we board, I can hook up to their electricity to keep the fridge going.

The weather is set fair so we are able to sit on the sun deck and watch departure.

The ship is almost deserted, at one point we have a lounge to ourselves. It is like a small scale cruise. There is entertainment planned for much of the day. First up, Rosie joins in a local version of bingo.
Halfway through the journey, we stop at Mariehamn on Aland. We watch the docking of our ship plus another with two queuing behind us. Note the digger driver working in front of the vehicles waiting to board.

We return to our seat to find that our bags have disappeared. Short panic then we find customer service. He has them behind his counter.
The hour moves back as we set sail again, confusing us no end. We're waiting for a show to begin an early.
A live 4 piece rock group plays two sets of 45 minutes. There must be 20 people in the room including 4 children. They are good playing songs by Springsteen, Bryan Adam's and Chris Rhea. Plus, rock versions of soul classics "My Girl" and "Too Hot To Handle". They particularly appreciate Rosie and I clapping appropriately in "The Wild Rover".
We are off the ship by 18:30 and at the site by 19:00. Rosie has found a car park in the grounds of a palace. During a walk around, we are treated to a sighting of a woodpecker. There is a quayside on the lake which was used for royalty in the past. Now, they will let any serf use it.
