RAUMA.
A steady journey to Rauma, further south on the western coast. The town is the largest preserved wooden town in the Nordic countries. As such, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The extended town is also pretty, we had to look twice at this sculpture, entitled Three Beauties, in the canal.

We're parked near a secondary school. The young bucks all seem to drive motorbikes. King of the lot has a quad bike. Nice to see that, having tried to impress the girls, he drove home alone.
We drive to a quiet harbour site. Arriving at 4:30, it proves to be too quiet. There is nothing to do for the next 6 hours before bedtime.
Move on further south to a much livelier place. Another harbour but with people and bars. A beer and a cider costs 14 euro. There is a table of noisy women alongside. It can't be the alcohol at that price that makes them boisterous!

There is a sauna attached to the bar, or is the bar attached to the sauna? Anyway, those using the sauna cool down by diving into the sea in the background. The air temperature is 10 degrees Centigrade, goodness knows what the sea temperature is.
