ST ANDRE DE CUBZAC.
Yesterday, the zeton for the electricity didn't fit beyond halfway. Our neighbour forced it in and pressed the button next to my connection. The electricity worked and the zeton was returned. We started it at 3pm for 12 hours. So, it went off at 3am this morning. However, at 7 I repeated the action and got more until we left.
We drove on to Bergerac to look around and to print a form for my pension. A very helpful girl in Tourist Information printed it, scanned it once I'd signed it then emailed it to me. All for 50 cents.
The town pays homage to Cyrano de Bergerac both the real person and the character based on him by Edmond Rostand in 1897. Steve Martin played him in the Hollywood film of the eighties called Roxanne.

. We spent over an hour walking around finishing up at the Dourdogne.

From there we moved on towards Bordeaux.
As often is the case so far, parkruns are a considerable distance from the city. This one appears to be 22 miles from the city centre. We stop for provisions on route but bizarrely we can't find fresh milk in 3 shops.
The parkrun is in the middle of nowhere. We could stay there but it's only 4 o'clock and there would be absolutely nothing to do for 6 hours.
Park4night points us to a harbour 7 miles away. It's picturesque and we're treated to a wonderful sunset and the arrival of a single black swan (accompanied by two pair of ducks).

Tonight's neighbours are French from Agen which we work out is between Bordeaux and Toulouse. He explains that Agen is famous for plums. He disappears into the van and we're expecting a liquor. He's been describing prunes! They are very tasty though, soaked in something sweet which might have been alcohol.
