Awake before the alarm goes off at 7:15. Empty and fill the van (in case we're sleeping in the van at Chris & Sally's) and we're on our way at 8. We use the motorway this time and it is much simpler. We arrive at the port at 9:16. The van is searched by security before moving through to the holding area. Ferry sails at 10:05 French time and arrives at 11:05 UK time. Just in case you were wondering, the seagull flew off just as we sailed away from the port.
