The Lure of the Laundry.

ZISLOW.
We drive 5 miles down the road in search of a washing machine. The campsite is rather expensive but the lure of the laundry cannot be ignored. We're parked up by 10:30 and the washing is underway immediately. The allocated spot is a great one, very wide, leading to the lake, with a great view.

The washing is finished and pegged out by 2:30. Waiting for the cycle to complete has given us a rare opportunity to sit and chill out. But we can only do that for so long and decide to go for a walk. The main lake, Plauer See, is too long to attempt but the receptionist shows us a map (ours for the price of euro 5.50) with a smaller lake accessed through a wood. He estimates that it is 5 kilometres in circumference.
It takes exactly an hour. Mainly through the woods on the banks of the lake so not overly taxing but a good walk all the same. Meet a number of walkers and a couple of lads fishing. Asked if they had caught anything, the reply nothing didn't seem to bother them. They seemed content with their sausages and beer.
The couple next door are in a caravan from Denmark. Their dog is a taller version of Indie. We, mainly Rosie, swap stories about travelling and prices. He would like a motorhome but the authorities tax them heavily. A new van can cost twice as much as in England.
Some great views across the lake to the sun setting in the west.
