WOLIN.
Up for a run through the wood and along the promenade. Stumble across a parkrun course! As I stagger back into the campsite, a German woman tells me that my mouth can turn up as well as down, I should try smiling! I'm knackered but she's right and I smile.
Fill up and empty the van then we're on our way. Choose the scenic route which avoids motorways and takes us through the countryside.
Arrive at the site by 2pm. It's a little out of the town so we're undecided. Drive into town at park at a military museum. Disappoint the curator by only asking for a map of the town (she was expecting to sell us tickets).
Find a couple of Polish restaurants, unfortunately they both close early. Finally decide to return to the out of town are. A great choice, fabulous view, very clean and electricity and water for only £10.

The owner is German who speaks excellent English. We have a discussion about Brexit, he doesn't understand our decision. In fact we've not come across anyone who does.
Walk into town, about a mile away. Choose a self-service place serving local food. £15 buys us a main course and a glass of wine each. The waitress is surprised when I leave a tip. Well, she did bring the food to our table.

There is a Viking village on the outskirts of town, naturally it is closed, the season finished last weekend. You can just see it in the background of the photo, above.
