Rosie has a hair appointment at 8:30 So we're up early. Paul runs to Damsgarten and back, a distance of 5 miles.

Drive to Ahrenshoop for a walk through the town and along the beach. Stop for an ice cream, the price is incredible considering it's a holiday town, 1 euro a scoop.

There are a number of thatched cottages in the area, we noticed the same in Denmark. We watch a gang hatching a roof on one of them.

We called for provisions from the local Aldi. There we encounter some bizarre customers. One was walking around the shop and loading her shopping into the trailer from her car. Another had a sun visor on under her sunhat, in the shop!

Park at Gutzow for the night. It's in the middle of nowhere in a nature reserve. There is an honesty box for the 10 euro fee. On the way way we see several storms in fields and in flight. Also, there are three sightings of deer.
