An Old B**t**d in Bastad.

SJOALTESJON.

A lie in for both of us as we experience a very quiet night. We drive to Bastad for lunch. It announces that it is known as the Swedish Riviera. It also is the home of the Swedish Open in tennis. The courts were introduced early last century by Ludvig Nobel, the nephew of the TNT inventor and the instigator of the peace prizes.

It's very windy by the harbour so we avoid the promenade, unfortunately. We eat our lunch in the town by the van.

Our final destination is a lake near Rossjoholm. We end up driving down a dirt track, rattling Bella to the core. At least it confirmed that the rack is well attached. Rosie announces that it reminds her of Little Red Riding Hood.

Eventually, Park4night finds us a site by another lake, Sjoaltesjon. Locals appear to come for a quick dip, possibly because there are notices of water shortages everywhere. We take a swim before dinner. The water is warm but the wind created quite strong waves.
