HANDBJERG.

Up in plenty of time for the parkrun. The rest of the runners seem to leave it until the last minute. About 30 runners start including a girl from London studying at Newcastle. She's here with the Tall Ships. The route is two laps of a trail through woods. No marshals but the course has been marked out in flour. The locals tell me that it is eaten by the birds so truly recyclable. After the run, Rosie gives me an outside shower by poring water over my head from the step of the van.

Follow the coast road to Sondervig near to Ringkobing. It's disappointing because our view of the sea is hidden by the sea. Take lunch in the van then walk to the beach.

Our final stop is at Handbjerg Marina. A lovely spot where we have to buy a card to stay the night, purchase electricity and take hot showers.

The parking guide promised a laundry but none exists to Rosie's annoyance.
