ESBJERG.
We call at the lake at Lagelund on the way to Lidl at Suderlugum. It would have been a nice place to stay if we had known.
Drive to Ribe in Denmark but the indicated car park doesn't allow overnight stays. We can stay for 48 hours though. The guide book tells us that e need a camping card but the girl in Tourist Information uses Google to learn that the card is "dead". She does however give us a parking disc for use in car parks.

Ribe is Denmark's oldest town. Quaint with haphazard buildings and cobbled streets. 2 lovely churches with a wonderfully quiet Kloisters Garden.

Three hours is enough, though and after a coffee we move on to Esbjerg. There are tall ships inn the harbour and crowds everywhere. Parking for the ferry may be difficult tomorrow. So we find the venue for the parkrun and learn that we can park there and cycle to the harbour.
Tonight, we park near to a statue entitled "Man meets Sea", commemorating 100 years of Esbjerg as a municipality. 90 minute walk along the seafront before dinner in the van.
