A Stroll around Lake Bled.

VRBE (DAY 2).

The overnight rain continued until mid morning. Then the sun came out so we walked to the next village and back. The bright sky persuaded us to stay at the lake today.

En route, we call at McDonald's. Last night the battery on the WiFi died so we couldn't check this morning. 3.20 euro buys us two coffees and an hour's WiFi.

We find cheap parking for the van not far from the lake and walk down. We consider a boat ride until Rosie learns that a trip to the island costs 14 euro each. We walk the 5km around the lake instead. Although fishing is allowed, there are plenty of large fish to be seen.

After a further visit to McDonald's for more WiFi, we return to Vrbe. We have a very pleasant walk for an hour visiting three local villages then it's bedtime.
