TREVISO.
Thunder and lightning, strong winds and heavy rain overnight. The guy in Croatia obviously knew something we didn't.
Bought croissants and bread at the bakery and enjoyed them for breakfast. The rain eased off by 11am so we headed off for Treviso. Made a mistake at a roundabout and had to join a motorway. One junction cost 2 euro so not a lot of damage done.
Driving towards Treviso, a peacock strutted across the main road in front of the van. Fortunately, I wasn't going too fast and was able to stop. It was oblivious, just a normal Friday afternoon stroll for him.
Found a park near the co-ordinates. Asked a jogger who put us straight by advisising it was a kilometre down the road. Again, the result looked strange, it seemed to be a business park. The gatekeeper showed us that it was at the end of the offices.
We found the start after a km walk. Back to the van for lunch using the bread from the bakery, very tasty even though it felt as hard as a brick.
Drove into Treviso, a couple of miles away via an excellent supermarket, the choices were excellent. The site is next to a football stadium but has the advantage of being free.

We walk into the town. Unfortunatey , the rain has returned so we have to take our raincoat. It's a maze trying to find the centre. Two young girls tell us to follow them. We finally discover it, it consists mainly of expensive shops although there are several museums. Our contribution to the local economy is to buy 2 delicious ice creams.

Get lost trying to get back to the stadium. We are helped by a security guard at one museum who provides us with a street map.
