PIERRE DE BRESSE.

Our positivity continues this morning. The rain has ceased so we can walk to the shower block in our dressing gowns. Rosie tries speaking French to a Scotsman, and not surprisingly, he doesn't understand a word.

Before leaving, we take a walk around the town. A house in the centre has all the famous people from the town painted into windows. Louis Pasteur is the only name that we recognise (top left hand corner).

On the way out we look for a McDonalds for coffee. However, a school has just broken up for lunch and the queue is out of the door.

We do find the Aires that we were seeking last night but Rosie decided that she wouldn't have been comfortable on either. We also discover that there was a "payant" Aire on our campsite but it didn't allow access to the showers.

We arrive at Pierre de Bresse by 3pm. A French motorhomer shows us where to connect to free electricity.

We're right next to the park so we go looking for the start.

We walk around the small village which has a population of less than 3,000. How do we know that we're in the right place?

We call for a beer before dinner. 2 x 0.5 litres of beer and a Ricard comes to Euro 12.20 plus the tip. No wonder the bar was empty.
